UniSpain Overall Evaluation
8'4/10
The internet unispain staff were very prompt and kind to me throughout the entire process
Adeline Pang (Japan)
You replied everytime quickly and efficiently to my questions, especially when I needed to change the week I left, you were very helpful. Definitely recommend to friends, very effiicient and a great way to learn Spanish.

perfect. I like the skype service!
Andreas Schneider (Germany)
quick response of Unispain everything went smoothly! Thanks! Booking through unispain is a little cheaper :-) Very good service!!! everything was well prepared in advance!
Ann Tanckere (Belgium)
Susanna from Unispain did a very good job!! sended her a mail and she did the rest :-) very efficient! and cheaper to book through unispain instead of directly in the school.
Ann Tanckere (Belgium)
Solo tenia una problema con originales de documentos pero luego nos resolvemos eso. Keep your staff! A mi gustaba trabajar con Susanna.

Celinde Gordijn (Netherlands)
overall i was satisfied of the quick responses of unispain but they NEVER mentioned that we had to pay another 30 euros for our books
charlotte vanhoeck (Belgium)
Everything was very prompt and responses were quick but it would have been good to have some personal contact before arrival - booking via the internet and not having contact with the university did seem a little informal/dubious.
Claire Hill (England)
The booking process was easy and responses were always prompt and informative
David Ward (Australia)
Slow replies to the email but otherwise the response was ok.
Elisa Schmidt (United States)
everything has been perfect. i want to thank the helpfulness of susanne faasen who was always available to any of my question and always answered me.

Felix Kraemer (Germany)
UniSpain is very fast in answering E-Mails.
Hemma Michaela Strutz (Austria)
The response was at a timely manner but I live in the US so the response was only at your time not at mine. That is obviously normal but made things more difficult. Im recommending this to my younger sister. But I request a less strict curfew.
Izabella Kipnis (United States)
I think, that you are doing a great job and am very thankful for your work!
Jessica Holdinghausen (Germany)
My course was of a high quality. UniSpain makes looking for a course much simpler than random internet searches.
Joanne Andreolas (Greece)
I knew there was a 6 hour time difference so slight delays didnt bother me. I always had a response in my email from the time the UniSpain office opened in the morning (Spain time). Your services were well organized and everything went smoothly.
Julie Dimond (Canada)
Bastante bien; el hecho que podiamos hablar en ingles con vosotros era muy util.
Kamila Karasinska Stanley (United Kingdom)
quick and good answers. Everything was organized well. I have already recommended your service to 2 persons
Konstantin Benzing (Germany)
Laures mother comment: It was a bit difficult for a 16-year old student to find her way at the airport to get the right bus but she managed. I know a pick up service could be set up but we found it a bit expensive. UniSpain kindly organised that she could stay with her friend in the same host family.
Laure Giberto (Belgium)
UniSpain s high efficiency impressed me! It replied your email immediately with details!

I already recommended UniSpain some other friends.

I was very happy that UniSpain was very helpful and understanding when I was having issues with the online payment system and was not able to make the payment before the deadline because of that.

The booking process was very easy, but I recieved information about my accomodation only one week before my arrival and the communication was kind of slow.

Tamas Bradford (England)
Sobresaliente! Muchos gracias por recomendación. Don Quijote está en sitio perfecto y la gente tiene edad más o menos similar.
Teemu Laakso (Finland)
For me it was the easiest way to book a school. Be available to call 7 days a week.
Timothy James Watt (Australia)
Good service. I liked the opportunity to see the pros and cons of different schools. You could present even more.
Tina Kraft (Germany)
Very responsive and attentive to any concerns. Very communicative.
Tina Malhotra (United States)
Because of the price and for the option to book accommodation and course in one go
Vanessa Constanze Wiegand (Germany)
I have already recommended UniSpain to a friend! :) Very good website, I wouldn't have known about the school without it.
Daisy Coughlan (United Kingdom)
I found the payment method difficult. The program did not seem to work and it took a long time to accept payment. I was unsure whether I has paid at all and had to contact you to find out if I had?
Deirdre Dunlea (Ireland)
Bit ofconfusion in emails after booking because they had my son's details in the computer against my email address. Otherwise it was well done.
Sarah black (United Kingdom)
Excellent help from the Barcelona on site staff as well as online service.
Dale Collie (United States)
No me surgió ningún problema.Mis dudas fueron resueltos con mucha rapidez.
Elena Kotomkina (Russia)
No problems at all, everything just works. I arrived in Spain confident that everything was under control, which is was
Mads Højer Petersen (Denmark)
Quick responses, friendly and competent service, trying to meet all particular demands - even in my case, booking spontaneously and only a week before the start of my journey. Thanks for that to Elena Gozalo:-)
Timo Peters
I thought they were good, However I had to make a few expensive phone calls to Spain to clarify things. Would be nice if they had an Irish number .
Emma Barry (Ireland)
Prompt, friendly, and reliable
Aysha AL Kusayer (Canada)
well organized and always helpfull if needed. Also organization of appartment was good.
Nikolai Remmel (Germany)
good service in all situations
Schliep Angelika (Germany)
In general all my questions were alwys answered. I found the staff very helpful. Only towards the end, justbefore my departure for Spain, I needed to know my accommodation address and that took bit more time to resolve, I was bit anxious about it... At the end everything was resolved!
Veronika Jankovicova (Belgium)
Information was enough, booking was easy.
Paula Tiuraniemi (Finland)
I like the late registration option. Most schools would close the registration earlier. I also like the excellent and fast customer service response.
Awadh Bawazir (Saudi Arabia)
10 out of 10 points! Even if you have questions they response within a day - almost every time!
Philipp Korn (Germany)
The staff is very nice but the website oftenly does not work too well...
Hao-Wen Kao (Taiwan)
The process was quick, with all details up front. Questions were answered rapidly and everything was smooth and easy- even booking accommodation after already booking the course.

Ivan Palchikov (Russia)
I very much appreciated the help and clarity of communication, especially with Julia, and I really valued being met by Rafa, and his support early on.

Alicante University
Many activities were cancelled because there were not enough students to perticipate.
Verena Daria Schneider (Germany)
The school itslef is well organized but you should have some spanish skills as the workers don't really speak english, but if you don't have any skills it is fine, too. There are enough people who can help you. The professors are really good and explain everything ( Especially Don Juan ^^ ) I've learned a lot and i would definetly do it again. And for those who want to go out, you can do it almost every day, there is always something ;)
Nikolai Remmel (Germany)
Our teacher,Laura Diez, was fantastic, unfortunately she was absent for 4 days and the cover provided was totally inadequate. We had teachers come and go and one just taught for an hour and then sent us home.In total I had 30 hours of lessons out of the 40 paid for. I did not think this was good enough and talked to Santiago about it,he was very helpful and wanting to make amends but so far i have heard nothing from him.
Hazel Blackwell (United Kingdom)
The University of Alicante is conducive to learning and camaraderie. The professors in Spanish language are brilliant. I really like the university; and wish to be back.
Erlinda (Lynne) Navarette (Philippines)
Teachers and teaching method is really good. The standard of the facilities is different and depends on where are the classes. There are a lot of activities, but they are a little bit expensive.
Katarzyna Gorecka (Poland)
Nina Pair (Austria)
very great
Aurore Gautherin (France)
Both Pablo and Raquel were excellent
Jonathan Gratton (United Kingdom)
Very, very nice teachers, helpful tips for the language in every day situations and for grammar, very good methods...
Ingrid Kohl
My groups were very small and the teachers are good and motivated. Moreover they have a lot of different levels

Alicante Sampere
The school was great. For someone who went on there own it was great because you got to met lots of other during during the nights out and the days away. They help with everything and they were so kind and fun. The best holiday I've had in a long time.
Deirdre Dunlea (Ireland)
School staff were genuinely welcoming and both teachers I had were very nice. Class size was amazing - I felt like I had private lessons almost- very happy about that. Position if scool in centre of Alicante was great as I could experience the place during breaks and after classes.
Sarah black (United Kingdom)
All were fabulous, especially Ainhoa, Theresa, Christina and Emi. We loved it.
Eric Stauss (Germany)
I was amazed at the high standard of teaching. I hope to return to Sampere soon....at Alicante.

Awadh Bawazir (Saudi Arabia)
I had a really great learning experience and met amazing people. The course was a lot of fun and of course educational
Julie Dimond (Canada)
It's a beautiful building and the accessibility is great. Great that it's not just a Spanish language school but also a regular uni, so you can get in touch with people from the city.
Vanessa Wiegand (Germany)
Different level of students missed in beginner level, as most of them have learned spanish in their country before. teachers are helpful
Rachel Nga Hong Chai (China)
The teaching method that focused mainly on speaking was very very good, I improved a lot.
Amilia Sotirhou (Romania)
As I have already seen many institutions for studying all over the world I must admit that there is nothing negative I can say or that comes to my mind! Sometimes they bore us a little bit with grammar, but that's nothing unnormal, we talk a lot and the teachers make a big effort to keep the lessons interesting like by playing games or so!
Sandra Plepp (Germany)
I am entirely happy with the school. A very happy memory. Wonderful. All the teachers I had were very good, fun and interesting, and I can't fault their methods.
Rahul Prasad (United Kingdom)
Teachers were fantastic but it would have been better to have a more structured academic schedule with a greater focus on grammar. Students in the class complained that they already knew the grammar, so the teachers obliged them and did not focus on it as much as on conversation. However, throughout the conversation, students made innumerable grammatical errors that were very frustrating because it became difficult to remember what was the actual correct form of the verb.
Shannon Crawley (United States)
My classes contained only 4 to 6 students, but several of the other classes contained up to 13 students.
Liana Casbarro (United States)
Nadine expected a combination of spanish culture, art, history and language. This was the reason she selected UAB. She only received lessons in the spanish language. Disappointing.
Nadine Williamson (Netherlands)
I felt that some people in my class were very good and wondered whether their level was appropriate for the group 2 class.
Christine Tang (United States)
6 for the first session/teacher...and 8 for the second session. The course should be more structured..with less group work! However, as there were only 6-7 in my group, we had personal attention...and many opportunities to converse/debate/opine!! Lectures about the history and art of Catalunya would have enhanced the course content considerably!!!
Aruna deMello (Italy)
Very committed teachers, motivating, high standard with tests, writing, giving talks after only 3 weeks of learning the language, role plays...
Ingrid Kohl (Austria)

Camino Barcelona
Teachers really nice and well prepared
Alessandro Miale (Italy)
Zhuolin He (China)
Both the professors and staff were extraordinarily helpful. I zoomed from zero ability with the language to confidence in moving about the city/country (shopping, travel, restaurants) in just two weeks. So impressed that I registered for additional two weeks.
Dale Collie (United States)
The class is very interactive, and the teachers teach very well too. But every Monday there are students who come and leave the group, so they may change the lesson time and teachers. That's not very good to the continual studies.
Shing Mei Lo
I was positively surprised that everything was so well organised. The teachers and people working at the school were always very helpful and friendly. The lessons very effective for me. Cant think of anything negative.

Competent and dedicated teachers, very good service and a wide range of cheap and interesting activities
Daniel Wacker (Germany)
I had one great teacher, and the other I felt was really bad. She made no effort or preparation for the classes and always blamed the students for lack of enthusiasm
Justine O'Keeffe
A bit variable but the teachers were very good overall
Brian Van Wyk
Teaching standards are excellent , made to feel at ease in class and the sessions feel quite relaxed-nice environment to be in with interesting and very well qualified teachers.
Joanna do Val- McGrady (United Kingdom)
As I am an older person I found the number of young Americans very offputting.
David Skene (Australia)
Good variety of material, patient with students but kept good pace moving forward.

Good teachers - some better than others - but for the most part, i learned a lot.
Corinne Krishnan
There needs to be more internet facilities available which actually function because international students rely on the internet.
Peter Othan
I will come next year!:-)
Marie Václavová (Czech Republic)
Beginner level. Class size 6. Teachers at complutense were very good, well prepared and experienced. Did not have to buy course books. Materials provided by the teachers. No activities were organized by the university. This was fine as we had already arranged our own excursions.
Amy Lee (United States)
Complutense is very good. However, they should pay their teachers instead of expecting them to work for free.
Jeremy Kerbel (Germany)

Sampere Madrid
Fantastic teachers, good method, average materials (but not enough emphasis on reading).
Laura McWorther
Staff/faculty very friendly and helpful, method of classes could use some work.
Sarah Ramsey
Some teachers were better than the others but in all, I can see a clear improvement in my language capacity skills.
Elisa Schmidt (United States)
The teachers were really motivated and searched different ways to catch our interest. I have learn a lot in these two weeks.
Anais Vivarie (France)
Very helpful staff and teachers...I would have liked a "text" with some explanation of concepts instead of just exercises. I love the location and the street is very pleasant. I chose the school for its lovely, quiet location.
Noel and Nolan Pfeffinger (United States)
The teaching method is by far the most important which is why the mark is so low. Very very expensive for quality of teaching provided. Need more real life subjects and practical work on real life situations. Class sizes were at times 9 people. Far too big for the money paid.
Helena Eagles (United Kingdom)
Ute Weidmann (Germany)
Although I would love to give a 10, there were a few subjects that could have been made clearer, but I truly loved Esther and Julia and took away a lot from their classes and appreciate their efforts and kindness, and the great fun they brought to the classroom! Please let them know how much they are appreciated! I loved the school, and appreciate the teachers and the administration. I do wish I would have known about more outside of class meeting to practice my Spanish..I didn´t know until the last week, and think it could have been very beneficial in imporving my speaking.
Alexandra Lacy (United States)
I liked the teachers very much, they were very lively and made sure that everyone in the class understood the lesson before moving on to the next one.
Francesca Suarez (United States)

Malaga University
There were no activities, arranged by school. They had some flyers around though. The teachers were very professional and experienced! (Except for one, which seemed to dislike her job anyway :)!.. (Mentioned it on the feedback-sheet of the school)
Inga Fresser (United Kingdom)
Fawaz AlMohsin (Saudi Arabia)
Brandon Soto (United States)
Students in class were not given equal chance to participate - teachers asked questions to same students all the time. The class was bigger than advertised.
Lianne Mcwilliam (United Kingdom)
It would be much better to provide students more information before students ask and arrange more activities for every course students.
Su Youn Kim (South Korea)
For the price they definitely offered what they promised. but for being a faculty just specialized on foreign language classes they could make a lot more out of it! The grammar classes were amazing. The conversation class was a little weird..the teacher (Eugenia) was kinda overwhelmed with her students so class was usually pretty boring.
Isabella Schibli (Switzerland)
The grammar part was ok, the speaking and the listening was not. the teachers talked a lot about their own stuff and we did not practice a lot. they should have concentrated more on us and not on themselves.
Olga zibina (Latvia)
I had two horrible grammar teachers from August till September but my October-January teachers were awesome.
Isabella Oyairo (United States)
Classes were a little too big as I did Verano course with up to 17 people in a class.
Claire Hill (United Kingdom)
I liked it very much and most of all the classes of culture.
Laura Rubiu (Italy)
Good value for money.
Mari Ottvad
I liked the course and the school a lot and I can honestly recommend it to other people.
Anna Nyman
Der Professor Alvaro war sehr gut
Nina Tadje (Germany)
Its a pity they didnt offer activities, just one trip to a village but to do that you had to miss class for that day. They teachers were nice and the methods quite good, however, they were often late and we had a lot of changes of staff.
Carmen Herrmann (Germany)
THE TEACHERS WERE VERY GOOD, i learned a lot, but the organization of activities was really bad.
Edward Smith (United States)
Very hard work but excellent.
Hogir Habasch (Germany)
I had an excellent day time during my stay in Malaga. The UMA language school was very good, the teachers were great. Beside that I have met lots of wonderful people. I can only recommend such kind of trips.
Colin Lane (United Kingdom)
I was not too happy that we had so many changes of teacher during our course. Obviously this was due to teaching staff taking holidays during July and in future I would avoid July and August.
Liina Lüdimois (Sweden)
On e teacher was really good and made us laugh a lot and study hard, but the grammar one read newspapers or went out of the class, while letting us fill the exercises. Boring!
Jessica Rune
I have learned so much, its almost unbelievable!
Pat MacNamara (United Kingdom)
Some extremely good others a little bit less. but i really liked the way they gave the lessons. in general i have nothing to complain
Ilse Haak (Austria)
Only the rythm started to iritate me after a month (littlebit boring)
Judith Martens (Netherlands)
2 good teachers, one terrible -very bad attitude and bad teaching methodes. She made fun of us and was very patronizing and not nice.
K H (Norway)
Teachers were good but a text detailing the grammar, rather than only exercises, would have helped me greatly. Some teachers screamed and made faces at students who asked too many questions or could not understand them. Others made students feel inadequate by constantly declaring how "facil" the grammar was. Professors probed students for for personal information in the class. One even researched a student online and told the class of the student's past. They often probed students' ages and number of novias before the class. As a former professor, I found these action MOST unprofessorial and evaded the probing or lied. Younger students often succumbed but complained outside of class.
Jesse Rhines (United States)
After 2 weeks they changed the teacher and that was confusing hole the class.
Matthias Gross (Germany)
Teachers were all very friendly and excellent at incorporating different standards in class. All classes were interesting and helpful.
Rachel Perfect (United Kingdom)
I definitely learned a lot - the fact that I attended a class of only 4 other students did make a difference, although it would have been better to be located directly on a university campus as the relation between teatinos and the school for extranjeros really does not exist.
Marianne Hartmann (Germany)
I like the school and way of the education there. I hope to carry on my study one day in future.
Yulia Ermolaeva (Russia)

Malaga Plus
I was very satisfied with my school - Malaga Plus, I was put the highest level group, all of us had pretty much the same level, knowledge, vocabularly of Spanish. The age range was very different. We had wonderful teacher - Alicia, very nice one! I did not particate at the activities which school prepared, so therefore cannot comment on them.
Veronika Jankovicova (Belgium)
very nice school, teachers and employees
Philipp Egel (Austria)
The teachers were very good and helpful. I really liked the structure of the study book.
Etelka Kovacs
A very pleasant atmosphere.
Melanie Hofman
Most teachers very good, teaching book very good. very friendly people at the reception.
Daniela Meier (Czech Republic)
At Malaga Plus, I had a quite frustrating first week because teachers grouped me in a level that was too high for me, although I questioned them about it. At both schools there were teachers that were awesome and some that were alright.
Anne Maass (Germany)
Mejorest profesora Auxi Garsia, otros regulares.
Anna Yakovets (Russia)
Its really nice to stay in Malaga, you learn a lot of spanish in the school. a trip to sevilla was 45 euro, only for bus and one hour guide to the cathedral.

The school and the great teachers, and Malaga, a wonderful and lively city filled with culture and warmth.

the teaching quality was excellent. I also found the optional tours - free around the uni and for a modest fee to other towns - really good value and worth doing
Helen Mees (Australia)
top notch just one small complaint. i was not informed about public holidays so I in fact received only 8 days of tuition when i had expected and paid for 10 day 1 was 1 hour of placement test and day 10 was public holiday
Sandra Kessler (Australia)
La unica cosa que no comprendo es por que compré un libro que casi nunca hemos utilizado.
Siro Celio Gottardi (Spain)
Could use more modern equipment rather than chalkboards. Only 2 trips arranged for the month, both were fully booked so students trying a month couldn't participate in any.
Ellen Vickers (United Kingdom)
I haven't been on any excursions with the school, so cannot say anything about that. But the school and the teachers were the best I have ever had and I am very pleased. I went from total beginner to B2 en less than 3 months! I can thank my teachers and a great class for that
Mads Højer Petersen (Denmark)
Excellent! Professors, texts, content...Everything. I learned more this summer than in all my previous summer courses, including my courses at this same university last year!
Toni Gross (United Kingdom)
Begona, Grammar Teacher: perfect; very friendly and motivating. Augustin, communication teacher: multilingual and very friendly. Charo, Written Practice Teacher: sometimes confusing, was missing in the last (fourth) week. The teacher who replaced her seemed not to be very interested and was sitting in front of the class two times where we had to work on our own; definitely my worst teacher but still ok.
Knust Rüdiger (Germany)
The course felt to me to be aimed at school/ uni leavers. I had not been in a class room for 12 years and the methods felt a little strange to me but I soon understood why they were being used. The teachers were all fabulous and when I return I hope very much to have them again!
Lucy King (United Kingdom)
Teachers were wonderful, all of them without exception. I might say though that I would have liked some break between classes...I enrolled for 5 hours and had 5 hours straight, with only 10 min. breaks. This was very intense. Wonder if the 5 hours could be structured a little differently.
Maggie Gluek (Canada)
I really enjoyed school, except the school needs a better system to place students. I felt some students in my class were not in the appropriate level, and they should have been in a level lower. Them being in the class, held back the other students, because it was hard for the teacher to teach different levels. Students are paying a lot to take these classes, they shouldn't be held back by others. Students should be allowed to switch by the 2nd week of classes, and I think the teachers should have an input as to whether or not the students should be at the level. Maybe a second test should be given out the first day of class to see if students are in the appropriate level.
Samantha Hicks (Canada)
The teachers were fantastic and even the begginers classes were rooted in grammer which was an excellent basis from which to learn I coulden't fault the organisation of the teaching.
Ottilie Windsor (United Kingdom)
The staff were great and always willing to help, in any situation. Standards at the university of Salamanca are extremely high.
Justine O'Keeffe (South Africa)
The teachers and the teaching method help me a lot and in short time My basic of the laguage is improve very quickly.
Silvia Luvisotto (Italy)
They were amazing teachers who had a passion for aiding foreigners to learn the wonderful Spanish language.
Kate Naughton (United Kingdom)
The teachers were generally very good but could have moved much more quickly through material. had an excellent experience but I did not learn as much spanish as I expected to.
Michelle Barber (Germany)
Classes were generally very interesting. some teachers were more interesting than others but thats a normal thing.
Brigitte Potvin (Austria)
Teachers clearly had a lot of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners, and thus were very effective.
Pria Adam Mutzelburg (Australia)
I had excellent teachers. All were very friendly and helpful. They knew the material that they were teaching, how to teach it, and were passionate about it.
Sabina Armstrong (United States)
Very good University. I would go back.
Tristan Edwards (United States)
Excellent teachers and fun and interactive learning environment.
Anna Crawford (United States)
The first semester was a 10...great experience and I learned a ton! The second semester, in the A level classes, were not so helpful. The class was very slow for the students that were not in the correct level. The incorrectly placed students should have been replaced or left behind--it is, after all, a voluntary course.
Rachael Sedgwick (United States)
Compared to ther courses that i did, was this one far and away the best.
Eva Kammann (Germany)
Good.Perhaps a better mix of students from different countries.
Paul Lee (Canada)
Salamanca University is of a very high standard As a beginner I learnt a huge amount of spanish. The teachers at Salamanca were excellent and the language was tuaght in a methodical progressive, and very inclusive manner.
Claire Evans (United Kingdom)
There is a class that I have to study with other students that come from much higher levels because there are no lower class and that make me get mad cuz I understand nothing in the class! All teachers are very good and nice.
Morakot Mektipphachai (Indonesia)
Me gusta la ciudad y las lugres ademas el universidad.
Amer Lazikani (Lebanon)
Very good teachers but the communication class was horrible.
Stephanie Brooks (United States)
I think more emphasis should have been placed on oral practice in class.
Mercedes White (United Kingdom)
2 out of the 3 professors I had were great. One professor was terrible. I dropped her class mid semester. That was a big waste of money. Classrooms were often cramped, too cold or too hot
Kristin Haagensen (United States)
Very good overall. Teachers were excellent. First term moved a bit too quickly for my liking but second term went into more detail so overall it worked extremely well. Reiterate, the teachers were very good indeed.

I didnt particularly like Rosanas teaching methods. I talked with my other classmates and we feel like she babied us a lot, and also, she never once gave us positive feedback. she never once told us we have improved our Spanish.
Claire Kean (United States)
I was lucky to have a very good teacher for only two pupils in the last two weeks.
Liisa Makinen (Finland)

Not reduce the teachershours if the course has less than 5 students. We pay full and it is not fault of the student that the course is was not filled with the students.

Cinta was brilliant. Smaller classes in the afternoon were very helpful and more encouraging. Teaching method was good, maybe it would be beneficial to have more activities out of class to then be discussed in class. Offering more free activities or suggesting the best way to explore the city would be useful. But it was very well organised
Liz O\'Fathartaigh (Australia)
My teacher, Cinta was wonderful!
Gisele Moore-Huber (United States)
cultural activities were fine. could have been better, comparing to other language schools I've been in. we were assigned to a lower level than we really were in, and when we asked to change it, the class coordinators insisted that we try the one we were assigned to. in the end we ended 2 weeks without learning anything new.
Adam Koren (Israel)
Peter McMahon (Ireland)
The teachers were lovely and very motivated. The classes were interesting, divided in one grammar session in the morning and a conversation session around noon. The teachers took care that every student participated and learned something and we also worked with audiovisual media (songs/films/electronic whiteboard). During conversation classes in the semana santa we even cooked typical dishes together and visited some interesting churches where processions werer being prepared. The classrooms were well equipped, each one with projector, electronic and conventional white boards. Only the classrooms and tables for each student were pretty small. With ten persons the room was completely full and only the textbook OR a writing pad would really fit on the tables. Except this tiny issue the school was very well equipped, offering a free DVD and book rental as well as different newspapers, a cafeteria and many public computers and wifi. Furthermore there was a working room and nice roof teraces.
Timo Peters
Grammatical course excellent conversation course, less interesting(not enough pushing)
Bénédicte Vincent (France)
Very good school. I'd love to come back a third time! Since I spoke Spanish daily out of school I would have appreciated more emphasis on grammar and vocabulary, and less pairwork.
Christina Bonnarp (France)
Sevilla: committed teachers, very motivating, you learn very much and have a lot of fun at the same time - one month was not enough...

Valerie Lipman (United Kingdom)
It has been my best holiday ever and a lot of it due to the activities at the school!
Sara Bianchi Bazzi (Italy)
I had better explain this. You booked a "2-week super intensive course". I expected to join a small group and follow a clearly defined programme with set objectives as to what we were going to accomplish within those two weeks. Also with the "+4" hours noted on my papers I expected 4 hours per week of individual tuition. That did not occur. I was put into a class with 3 others of about the same level of fluency although they were part way through a longer period of stay with CLIC. I just went along with whatever they happened to be doing during the two weeks I was there. There was no structured course as such. Also the 4 hours were a myth; when I questioned this with the Director of Studies he said that meant I could attend the 4 extra lectures given in the late afternoon on various Spanish subjects.
Martin Brand (Germany)
Intensive classes are recommended.
Frédéric de Buck (Belgium)
I would recommend this school. I would have liked to stay longer.

Neda Buljevic (Croatia)
Good. Im glad I enrolled and would recommend it to others. Excellent instructor, but I misunderstood the instructions for several assignments. Written rather than verbal instructions for the assignments would have been helpful.

The only good thing, were the teachers. But lessons were starting to late. The foto-copies they gave us during lessons were a joke - hardly readable. Unbelievable!

The location of the school was very comfortable for me to reach. I only had one teacher in my 1 month stay and about her I can say that she was amazing! The classes were never boring, I learned every day something new, she took interest in our lives, she was very respectful and tolerant. There were 2-3 activities per week while I stayed there.
Kelly Toom (Spain)
The teachers (Diana and Elisabeth) were lovely, gave me lots of confidence to speak in Spanish, helpful, helped me with any question I asked. I learnt a lot, the school was very nice too, however the wifi wasn't working when I came and there was a funny smell at times (I think it was the air conditioning) but those were very small and minor problems and I enjoyed my time there very much :)
Daisy Coughlan (United Kingdom)
I spent 6 weeks at Hispania and loved it! Teachers are amazing, they try to emphasize oral expression as much as they can and the quality of class is great. I would highly recommend that school.

ABDULAZIZ ALKHALDI (Denmark)
The teachers are really nice and helpful. They really try to make you speak spanish. The main language spoken at the school is spanish, not english. It might sometimes seam a little bit of a chaos but that is more Spanish habit then it is the school's fault. You will enjoy learning spanish, learn it a lot quicker than at school, have a much better pronunciation and have plenty of time to enjoy other activities besides school! Definitely worth it!
