Sampere Salamanca

Salamanca life centers on the Plaza Mayor, a beautiful square surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops. Everything in this small town is within walking distance: beautiful churches, ancient streets, bars, restaurants and much more. Segovia, Burgos, Santiago de Compostela, Leon and Madrid are all within easy reach.

Estudio Sampere Salamanca is located in a pedestrian street just five minutes from the Plaza Mayor (main square). The school is air-conditioned and adapted for language teaching in small groups. It has 8 classrooms and a library/video room. It is a small school with a friendly atmosphere, where students soon get to know everyone.

The courses at the school vary from beginners to advanced and there are also one-on-one and intensive courses. Additionally there are classes for juniors split up into classes for 13-15 years and 16-18 years, DELE exam preparation courses as well as senior courses for those over 50 wanting to improve their Spanish while also enjoying a cultural vacation in one of Spain’s famous cities. The lesson fees include a welcome pack, free internet service and many social events. The courses for the under 18s and over 50s also include airport transfer and all-day excursions.

The climate is continental in Salamanca, with cool winters and warm summers. Excursions and day trips are available for all students, ranging from sports and local tours, to visits to other Spanish towns in the surrounding area, such as Alberca. The school also offers museum trip, wine and tapas tastings and local cultural shows such as flamenco.

Various accommodation options are available for students – from sharing the home of a Spanish host family (especially recommended for younger students, who will enjoy a home away from home and be treated as part of the family), or shared self-catering apartments- all of which the school will organize and arrange for students. They can even help students source hotels and hostels for shorter stays.
