The school has sixteen fully-equipped classrooms, although when the weather is fine (and on the Costa del Sol it nearly always is) classes are sometimes held in the lush gardens outside. The Club Costa Nerja, near to the main school building, provides students with an array of accommodation as well as a common room, Wi-Fi zone, bookshop, library, cafeteria and a spacious courtyard for enjoying the sunshine and catching up with new friends.

The school also offers a mix of classes for all levels – from intensive and individual to vocational courses such as business and tourism and also for those wishing to train as Spanish teachers themselves. All tutors are language and arts graduates with a zest for life and a passion for education. Students can also combine their Spanish language course with a wide variety of extra-curricular activities including golf, flamenco, salsa, tennis, photography, scuba diving and mini-stays…ideal for combining language learning with a holiday.

And if that isn’t enough, then students can also explore the surrounding beaches and mountains. Nearby there are prehistoric caves and small white-washed villages to enjoy, and as Nerja is a coastal town on the Mediterranean there are also many water sports to enjoy along with horseback riding and hiking. And don’t forget the quaint tapas bars and local coffee shops where students can sample local delicacies such as ‘churros con chocolate’ (a breakfast dish consisting of long doughnuts dipped in melted chocolate), gazpacho or freshly-caught sardines skewered and barbecued on hot coals on the beach. The ideal location for learning the local language while feeling like every day is a holiday!
