Pamplona Spanish Institute

The school offers various options for learning Spanish, including DELE preparation classes, intensive courses and private lessons. It also runs a successful internship program that lasts for up to 24 weeks and consists of 4 weeks of Spanish classes and up to 20 weeks work placement – in engineering, administration, chemical industries and marketing. This is only open to students with at least an intermediate level of Spanish.

Pamplona is a historic city made famous worldwide for the San Fermín festival, from July 6 to 14, in which the running of the bulls is one of the main attractions. This festival was brought to literary renown with the 1926 publication of Ernest Hemingway's novel The Sun Also Rises. It is a charming city full of old streets and great restaurants, where students will enjoy trying local Northern Spanish delicacies such as Pintxos and seafood.

Students can enjoy many fun activities and excursions in and around the city in their free time. There are nature trails in the summer months and skiing in the winter. Students can also discover the history of the region such as the medieval Olite Castle or enjoy visits to local vineyards, cheese factories and local crafts people.

There are many accommodation options for students of the Pamplona Learning Spanish Institute. Homestay is popular as it is accommodation in the home of a local family - the ideal way to understand Spanish culture, customs and practice the language on a daily basis. Then there are other options such as flat share with other foreign students, apartments, residence (not available year round) or local hotels and hostels.
