Salamanca University - First Class Package
Our special First Class Packages are offered in Malaga, Madrid and Salamanca. These locations have been carefully selected both because of the quality of the Spanish courses available at the universities there and also to offer three different and very attractive Spanish cities.
UniSpain's special Salamanca University Package is an ALL inclusive Spanish language program containing course fees, high quality accommodation, pick-up from Madrid, medical insurance, Spanish mobile phone, excursions, free time activities and much more (see below for a complete list of what is included in this Package).
We have selected Salamanca University as the ideal destination for our Spanish language package first of all because this university is the best and the most prestigious university in Spain.
The University dates back to 1218, which makes it the third oldest university in Europe and it was the first university in Spain that started to offer Spanish courses for foreigners more than 30 years ago. Salamanca is also a very nice town to study and live in with a youthful and welcoming atmosphere and with a great number of students from all over the world.

Quality - This program offers the best Spanish course available in a public university in Spain. The quality of the Spanish programs at Salamanca University is guaranteed by the many years of experience and the university has furthermore been selected by Instituto de Cervantes (the official governmental organization who promotes the Spanish language) to set and correct the DELE exam - which is an official recognised examination in Spanish as a foreign language.

Pre-departure Help & Advice
You will receive full information about Spain and Salamanca and we will be at your full disposal answering all the questions you have and helping you apply for student visa (when needed) or arranging transfer of credits.
Course Fees
Included in this package is the course fees for one, two or three semesters with 25 class hours per week, the certificate at the end of the course and the matriculation fees. Apart from this all our students will receive a student card from Salamanca University which gives full access to all the university facilities like sports grounds, swimming pool, computer labs and libraries.
First Class Student Accommodation
You can choose between living in your own small flat, a single room in a shared student apartment or a Spanish host family with half board. The accommodation we offer is all first class accommodation and you will receive photos and a description before your arrival. The majority of student accommodation in Spain is of middle to low quality but we have used our contacts and knowledge about accommodation in Salamanca to get the best options available.
Your accommodation will be available 5 days before your course starts and also 5 days after the course has finished. This how you will have time to get to know the town before you start at school and when the program finish you will have time for the last farewell parties with your new friends.
Airport Pick-up
We will pick you up in Madrid (Barajas) airport, which is the nearest international airport to Salamanca and will thereafter take you to your accommodation in Salamanca and provide you with additional information about the town.
Medical Insurance
We offer our clients a complete medical insurance, which cover all type of medical expenses (we will send you the insurance papers before your arrival).
Free Spanish Mobile Phone
Upon arrival to Spain we give you a Spanish mobile phone with credits of approx 20€. We will send you the phone number in advance so your family and friends can get in contact with you from the first day.
International Calling Cards
We will provide you with 5 international calling cards worth 30€ so you can call home at very cheap rates.
Spanish Bank Account
We will help you open a bank account in Spain so you can receive funds from home or change travellers' cheques.
Welcome Activities
During your first days in Salamanca before your Spanish course starts you will meet our agent, who is a Spanish student and who will be at your disposal during you whole stay.
Together with the agent we arrange an immersion program so you can get to know Salamanca. This program includes a guided tour through Salamanca, visits to the most important monuments and museums, a guided visit to the university and all the installations and a welcome dinner-party.
Free Time Activities
We frequently arrange events in Salamanca like dinners, going out at night, gatherings with Spanish students and social and sport activities.
Apart from these activities we can arrange language exchange with Spanish students and your agent will help you get in further contact with native students so you can practice your Spanish as much as possible and get to know better the Spanish culture and way of life.
If you want to join any sports or student organizations we can also help you find the right place and arrange the admission.
Excursions
In collaboration with the organization ForOcio, the University of Salamanca and local student organizations we arrange a number of excursions during the academic school year. These excursions include visits to Madrid, Segovia, Portugal, Galicia, ski-weekends and much more. In our package are included one or two excursions away from Salamanca per month.
