About Valencia
The Spanish city of Valencia on the east coast of Spain is the country's third largest with a population of approximately 800,000. The capital of the autonomous community of Valencia and home to the original Paella, Valencia has two official languages: Valenciano, the regional Spanish dialect, and Spanish (both of which are used on a daily basis). The climate in Valencia is nice: summers are warm without getting as hot as some parts of southern Spain while winters are mild, with temperatures rarely falling below 10º C.
