Teenage Spanish Courses
The teenage Spanish language courses are Spanish summer courses that normally run during the months of June, July and August and are targeted at youngsters between 13-17 years old. However, some Spanish schools also offer Spanish language courses for children from as young as 5 years old.

The summer youth Spanish language courses are arranged by many of the private language schools in Spain that offer normal Spanish language courses during the rest of the year. A typical Spanish course offers around 15-20 Spanish classes per week and a number of afternoon and weekend activities. The summer camps are arranged so the students have a great time both during classes and after with a number of organised free-time activities, from cultural activities such as guided visits to museums to sports activities and weekend excursions.
The average class has around 10 students and the teachers are experienced in teaching Spanish to youngsters. The Spanish classes are done in a very interactive and communicative way to make it more fun for the students while they are learning. Youngsters has in general a more open mind to learning new languages by practising and playing and the classes has been adopted to this spirit.
In some summer camps there are also Spanish students studying foreign languages, which even makes it easier for the both parts to learn and practise during the afternoon and weekend activities.
In many Spanish language course schools it is also possible for the parents to take a normal Spanish course at the same school.
Students normally live with Spanish host families with 1-3 students in each home or in a student residence at the camp. The Spanish families are furthermore a good way for the students to learn more about the Spanish culture as well as practice their Spanish during the evenings.
The teenage summer camp Spanish courses can be recommended to all students who are interested in learning Spanish and experience a great vacation in a foreign country. As these Spanish courses are arranged to make it as much fun as possible to study Spanish, the youngsters will not feel like they are on a study camp but rather that they are experiencing a great adventure.
At all Spanish language course schools the students are monitored constantly which makes it a safe environment for children to study Spanish or improve their Spanish language. From the first day the youngster will be picked up at the airport and showed the way to the Spanish language course school from the host family's home. During the afternoon and weekend activities there are supervisors looking after the children and during the evenings they will be looked after by the host families or by monitors if they are living in a residence.
