Apart from the classrooms the school has a computer room with Internet access and a special room where students can watch Spanish movies, play games or chat outside class hours. Don Quijote is well known for its many social activities, which include a welcome party, excursions (in and out of Madrid), dancing and singing lessons and language exchange with Spanish students.

Don Quijote is one of the largest private organization offering Spanish language courses in Spain. The first school was established in 1986 and now includes schools in 6 different locations in Spain (Madrid, Granada, Salamanca, Tenerife, Barcelona and Valencia) as well as a school in Peru and Mexico.

The students studying at don Quijote come from all over the world with the majority of students from the USA and Europe but with an increasing number from Asia.
