About Babylon Barcelona

Babylon Barcelona belongs to the global award-winning language institute Babylon Idiomas, which features the innovative LIFE (Language Immersion for Everyone) learning program. The LIFE curriculum places emphasis on natural, practical learning and is taught consistently at all levels and at every Babylon school. Founded in 2002, the organization has quickly grown to become a leading Spanish language institute. It was voted Best Spanish Language School by Language Travel Magazine in 2008 and was nominated again in 2009 and 2010.

Located in downtown Barcelona, the school enjoys large classrooms, a social area, an internet café, and an expansive outdoor terrace. It occupies the first floor of a characteristic building of Barcelona's popular Eixample district, complete with elevated ceilings, French windows, and mosaic floors. Many of the city's most notable tourist attractions, restaurants, streets, and squares are found in the beautiful 19th-century Eixample neighborhood, including the Sagrada Familia cathedral and the trendy Rambla de Catalunya (an extension of the famous La Rambla street).
