About the School: Don Quijote is one of the largest private organization offering Spanish language courses in Spain. The first school was established in 1986 and now includes schools in 6 different locations in Spain (Madrid, Granada, Salamanca, Tenerife, Barcelona and Valencia) as well as several partner schools in Spain and a school in Peru and Mexico.
The students studying at don Quijote come from all over the world with the majority of students from the USA and Europe but with an increasing number from Asia.
All the teachers at don Quijote are native Spanish language speakers and with a University degree in teaching the Spanish language. Furthermore they regularly participate in teaching and refresher Spanish language courses and many have been studying other languages abroad, which help them understand how it is to be a student in a foreign country, to study another language. The interactive teaching method don Quijote uses is based on learning by practice and has been continuously refined over many years of experience and feedback from students.
Don Quijote is well known for its many social activities, which includes a welcome party, excursions and weekend trips to nearby attractions, dancing and singing lessons and language exchange with Spanish students, to help in the Spanish study outside the Spanish language course.
The Don Quijote Spanish school in Marbella is located in a 3 story building in the centre of the city; well communicated by public transport and just a few minutes away from the beach, restaurants, tapa-bars and shops.
The building, with its 17 classrooms (3 of which are outdoors!) has all the amenities of a modern school, such as a computer lab with internet access, library services, audio-visual equipment in all classrooms, study hall, air conditioning, and it blends in with huge sunny terraces, Mediterranean air and other outdoor common areas.

- Lessons are of 55 minutes.
- Possible to prepare for and take the DELE exam.
- Certificate given at end of course.
